Welcome to the New Zealand Institute of English!

Learn English and practise it with Kiwis! The New Zealand Institute of English is a warm and friendly school in the very centre of Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city. We are close to the train and bus stations, shops, cafes and bars.

We have many different English language courses for all levels of learner from beginners up to advanced students and we work hard to make sure you improve your English!

We are a language school with a difference! The New Zealand Institute of English is a faculty of the New Zealand Institute of Sport. So as well as studying English, you have the chance to take part in outdoor activities, cultural events and sporting activities with students from the New Zealand Institute of Sport.
